My Intentions in This Life

I was inspired by Pleasure Notes to post this list. So, what’s the list and what will I be doing with it? The list is compiled of various intentions I’m setting for myself. Not just for 2010, but for the rest of my time here as I know it. Some things I’ll get to right away, some may take years. So as for what I’ll be doing with the list, I’ll be working on it. I’ll be updating it. And all that for you to see. This is mostly for me. And maybe a little teeny tiny piece of me hopes you’ll make your own list of intentions.

So without further ado, and in no particular order…my intentions in this life:

• Open girls sports camp
• Master’s Degree in Creative Writing
• Write a screenplay
• Direct a movie I’ve written
• Write 3 books
• Meet Alice Walker
• Break 80 in an 18-hole round of golf
• Finish my book
• Run a half marathon
• Publish my book
• Cook Christmas dinner for all (yes, ALL) of my family and friends
• Sell 400,000 copies of my book
• See a World Series Game live
• Have a story published in Chicken Soup for the Soul
• Watch the Superbowl at the Superbowl
• Learn Spanish & speak it fluently
• Get married
• Watch the WCWS in Oklahoma City
• Have a child (or adopt)
• Walk on the  London Bridge
• Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge
• Walk on the Golden Gate Bridge
• Donate $1M to charity in 1 year
• Cycle 100 miles on 1 ride
• Feed 5,000 homeless on a random Tuesday
• Run 5 miles without walking
• Watch every Best Picture winner
• Complete a Triathlon
• Visit Auschwitz
• Golf at Pebble Beach
• Travel to Tahiti
• $1M net income after taxes in 1 year
• Have a flat, firm tummy
• Own 5 homes
• Live in Hawaii for 1 year
