In addition to regifting the award to the above beautiful blogs, I also must share with you seven things about myself in order to claim my celebrated award. As Andrea did before me, I’ll try to share with you seven things you might not already know about me (unless you know me in real life or are a stalker). Here goes:
- I have a tattoo on my ankle of “The Cure” which I did myself when I was just 15 years old. (Yes, I still love them, and of course I don’t regret it!)
- I am a two-time Home Run Derby winner, with a grand total of 16 home runs.
- I was once a shift manager at McDonald’s, and to this day I believe it was the best training I ever got on how to treat people well.
- I’ve had two cars stolen from me, one of them on my birthday, the other two days after. (I am no longer “allowed” to own an Acura as a result).
- I have had both of my cats since the day they were born in September of 1999.
- I once faked a back injury to get out of Sunday School. When I was seven.
- I once passed out in the middle of a “motivational” speaker’s presentation at work, and had to be rushed to the emergency room for a broken nose.
