Three Minutes of Silence #3MoS

by Dian Reid-Jancic· Follow Dian on

Three minutes of silence. This is what I’m willing to give myself every day. Today I’ll focus one minute on me, one minute on everyone I know personally. One minute on everyone I don’t know personally. Some days I’ll focus on healing. Some days I’ll focus on love. Some days I might focus on fun or love or creativity or The Great Mother or children or granny smith apples and peanut butter. I don’t know what these 3 minutes will bring to me each day. I just know that I need to be silent for 3 minutes every day.

I just want to see what happens. I’ll be posting my 3 minute thoughts on Twitter with the hashtag: #3MoS. Feel free to do the same.

What can you do with 3 minutes a day?

I use a lot more than 3 minutes a day. Silence is my sanity. Away from questions, demands, everyday noise. A lovely idea. We can certainly use more silence in this world!

Fabulous idea. Personally, I get physically and mentally uncomfortable in those quiet meditative moments. Three minutes would probably make me go insane. Which is probably exactly why I should participate!
I'll be curious to see what surfaces for you.
